GOI India built a platform to upgrade ayush & framed a structure the same for AYUSH doctors at the department level/state level/district level / UTs in the Public health management cadre. 
Health is a STATE list matter. 
The center and state can take necessary action to serve people's Health.
As we can see various schemes are implicated by the center or state or by both contributions. 
broadly speaking public order like health fall in a state list but the center can guide to state over this.
Health is a broad term. Health definition varies and changed accordingly. 
Health includes 
  • Physical Health 
  • Community Health
  • Public Health 
  • Mental Health
  • Emotional Health
  • Spiritual Health 
  • Intellectual Health 
Public health Vs Community health.
  • Public health- includes the prevention of disease, control of infectious diseases, personal hygiene,  sanitation, and emotional and spiritual health. 
  • Community health- focus on treatment and prevention at clinics and hospitals. 

Public Health Management Cadre - 

Consist of skilled and professional Public health professionals having qualifications like MBBS 
& Post MBBS or having MD in public health / PSM  or PG / DIPLOMA in a specialty (public health).
This qualified doctor is posted at healthcare PHCs/CHCs/ DHs.  
They also work with several agencies like WHO / UNESCO / Medical colleges 
and higher educational institutes and work as epidemiologists.

Now GOI India built a platform to upgrade ayush & framed a structure the same for AYUSH doctors at the department level/state level/district level / UTs in the Public health management cadre. 
is an initiative by GOI to bring ayush practitioners to the mainstream and treat them equally with the allopathic doctor and pay them equally and with equal opportunity.

The Public Health Management Cadre ( PHMC ) Includes Four parameters --
  • Specialist 
  • public health cadre 
  • Health management cadre 
  • The faculty member in medical college 
  1. SPECIALIST PHMC - Those who work in Public health facilities such as CHCs / SDHs / DH/ Territory hospitals.
  2. PUBLIC HEALTH CADRE - Those who work at PHCs/ CHCs/ state hospitals perform both public health and primary health-related functions.
  3. HEALTH MANAGEMENT CADRE - management of National Program at Block/district/ and state level. having experts such as Finance, HR, and Procurement Administration having PG in public health 
  4. TEACHING CADRE  - a faculty member in medical college as per NMC guidelines. 
Those who have Graduated in ayush and have PG Swasthvarita or accordingly will be preferred over PG Degree MPH / Diploma MPH.
In Health management cadre weighted ratio of PG Swasthvarita is 70% and PG degree MBA /MPH is weighted to 30%
This is One More Effort from GOI For  AYSUH Doctors / Science to Bring them to the main Stream.
Now Ayush Graduated or Ayush PG In any specialty will be considered and given an opportunity in the healthcare system and for ayush promotion, necessary action will be taken. 
Digital India's mission will bring new interventions For the AYUSH system and new diagnostic tools for ayurveda doctor to enhance their practice.
